Information We Collect

The Personal Information we collect depends upon, and is limited to, the nature of the services you request, your transaction, your request or inquiry about or with us, but may include your name, contact information, geolocation (physical location or movements), payment information, your IP address, type of operating system, device information, the time, nature and duration of your visit to our website(s), information as to how you use or have used our services and/or your preferences and other information that you may provide to us.  When we collect Personal Information we will, when appropriate and practicable, explain to you why we are collecting it and how we plan to use it.  In some circumstances we also may receive information from third parties.

When you visit our website or official social media pages, we may collect personal information about you from a variety of sources, including information we collect from you directly (e.g., when you contact us or provide services to us), and information we collect about you from other sources, including commercially-available sources, such as public databases where permitted by law. Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Personal details (e.g., name, date of birth)

  • Contact details (e.g., email address, postal address, phone number)

  • Demographic information (e.g., your age, gender, zip code, level of education, and interests)

  • Website usage information (e.g., IP addresses, information concerning page resolution, browser type)

In some cases, you may provide additional information, including when you choose to personalize your use of this website or when you ask a question of our account team.

We collect information from you passively. If you are on a mobile device and are using the Tangen Rewards App, and use a geolocation based service, for example, then we will collect your geolocation. We use common tracking tools like browser cookies to collect information passively. We may also use web beacons.

Children’s Personal Information

Tangen Hospitality’s practice is not to collect information from children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect any Personal Information online from children under 13 or as otherwise prohibited by law. How And Why We Use Your Personal Information.

We may use your personal information to, among other things:

  • enhance and personalize your use of our website

  • communicate with you in the normal course of business, and provide you with relevant information, content, customer satisfaction follow-up, and advertising (on our website, in newsletters, via e-mail, etc.)

  • connect you to a specific provider or with a trusted partner who will provide the information or service that you requested

  • carry out due diligence prior to engaging you as a service provider;

  • pay invoices;

  • send you marketing communications with your consent;

  • comply with legal obligations to which we are subject

In addition, we may use anonymous and/or aggregated data to create statistics and reports for various business purposes and may share this data with our business partners to offer you potentially desirable content, products, and services.

To respond to your requests or inquiries. For example, we use your information to fulfill orders or prizes. We might also use your information to register you for promotions or our website. From time to time, we may also use your information to process your employment application.

We also use your information to make website and product improvements. We might also use your information to customize your experience with us. SMS Terms & Conditions

Subscribers can opt-in for SMS messages from Tangen Hospitality as a part of the loyalty registration process at tangenhospitality.myguestaccount.com/en-us/guest/. By doing so, you agree to receive automated promotional and personalized marketing text messages from Tangen Hospitality to the mobile phone number you provided when signing up. Messages may pertain to promotional programs, new menu items, etc. Messages for this program will be sent from 509-841-2887 and begin with Tangen Rewards. Consent to receive automated marketing messages is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and Data rates may apply.


To opt-out of the text messaging program, text the keyword STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to 509-841-2887 to cancel. After texting STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to 509-841-2887, you will receive one additional message confirming that your request has been processed. Facebook Permissions

 

This Application may ask for some Facebook permissions allowing it to perform actions with the User’s Facebook account and to retrieve information, including Personal Data, from it.

The permissions asked are the following:

 

Basic information

By default, this includes certain User’s Data such as id, name, picture, gender, and their locale. Certain connections of the User, such as the Friends, are also available. If the User has made more of their Data public, more information will be available.

Contact email

Access the User’s contact email address.

Current City

Provides access to the User’s current geolocation.

Email

Provides access to the User’s primary email address.

Your rights over your personal information

You have the right to request that we inform you of the personal data we hold relating to you and/or to request that such data be corrected, deleted, or restricted, or blocked in accordance with and subject to your legal entitlements.

For these requests, please contact us. Please note that we will likely require additional information from you in order to process your requests, including verification of your identity, and we may be unable to respond fully to your requests where we have legal requirements to restrict access to your data, retain it or continue to process it.

We may share your personal information with third parties under the following circumstances:

Certain employees of ours and independent contractors we work with have access to your personal information for the purpose of helping us run our business. These employees and contractors have confidentiality and security obligations.

YOUR CHOICES

To stop receiving our promotional emails, you can follow the instructions in any individual promotional email you receive. When logged in, registered users can also change their options at the My Account page.

You can choose whether or not to disclose personal information. Some parts of our sites and some services may be more difficult or impossible to use, though, if you choose not to share. If you turn of cookies or tracking tools parts of our site and services may also not function properly.

LOYALTY ACCOUNT DELETION

Open the Tangen Rewards App.

Login if not currently logged in.

Open the side drawer menu by clicking the square with 3 horizontal lines in the top left corner of the Dashboard.

Click the “Update Profile” button.

At the bottom of the page, you will find a button that says “DELETE ACCOUNT”

You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the account, click the confirm button to complete the deletion of your loyalty account.

 

Information Security and Storage

We are committed to the protection of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We evaluate these measures on a regular basis to ensure the security of the processing.

We will retain your personal information in accordance with our data retention policy, and generally only for as long as is required for the purpose for which it was collected.
